Class of 2013

Three new members were inducted at the 3rd Annual COSHOF Pentathlon & Decathlon Challenge at George Washington HS on Saturday, January 19th, 2013:

Janet Culp-Redwine - USA Synchro - Janet was part of the USA Synchro Team at the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Janet grew up in Littleton and attended Littleton High School.

Bernie Wrightson - USA Diving - Gold Medalist in the 3M Springboard in the 1968 Mexico City Olympics. Bernie was born and raised in Denver and attended Denver East.
Wendy Lucero-Schayes - USA Diving - Wendy was part of the USA Diving Team at the 1988 Seoul, Korea Olympics. She grew up in Denver and attended Thomas Jefferson.

The Colorado Swimming Hall of Fame was created in 2011 to promote the lifetime sport of swimming by recognizing those individuals who have participated as a coach, volunteer, competitor, or official in an exemplary and outstanding way.

The definition for induction will likely evolve over time, but will represent those individuals that have left a mark in Colorado promoting all aquatic sports including Swimming, Synchronized Swimming, Water Polo, Para Swimming, and Diving.
